Victoria Police Honour Boards
On Saturday, 21 April 2018, Victoria Police, in conjunction with the Police Overseas Service Association of Victoria (UNOPAA's State Branch), conducted a medal ceremony at the Victoria Police Academy which included the unveiling of two Honour Boards.
One Honour Board is dedicated to Victoria Police who served with the United Nations Peacekeeping Forces in Cyprus commencing in 1964. The other is dedicated to those who served overseas on peace-keeping, capacity building and humanitarian missions from 1993 to 2017.
In all, a total of 551 Victoria Police staff were deployed overseas during this period.
